I started out as yet another CS Undergrad, but slowly programming grew on me. I got introduced to the magical ways of code through some close friends of mine, and yada yada yada, here I am. Tinkering with HUGO, writing my first piece on the internet (soon to be replaced by my own SSG (in Rust btw ;)).
I recently finished my 3rd year of college, and got lucky enough to bag an internship at DeepSource (a really cool place if you like language and stuff). It’s been a nice experience - getting to know how large codebases work, how to actually write good commit messages, and a lot more, which I’ll cover in my posts. But yes, I would recommend people to have some experience working at a startup; it’s really cool.
And finally, I won’t limit my interests to just programming, because everybody is human first, so here goes.
My Interests (in no particular order):
- Everything and anything related to code
- Football
- Things related to Japan or a quiet life in the mountains
- Movies (feel-good/sad/funny)
- Coffee
- Philosophical debates over leading a life full of hustle or just taking it slow and letting your work be spread out
And there’s a lot more, but I’ll leave that for another time.
